Mangraisat

Also known as Mangrai law code

The Mangraisat is a law code of Lan Na attributed to Mangrai, founder of Chiang Mai, though it survives only in later manuscripts and how much dates from his reign is uncertain. It regulates matters such as land, irrigation, debt, marriage, theft and fines for injuries, and is a rare source for customary law in a Tai state.
