Margaret III, Countess of Flanders, known as Margaret of Male, was the heiress of Louis of Male, count of Flanders. Her marriage in 1369 to Philip the Bold, duke of Burgundy, brought Flanders, Artois, Nevers, Rethel and the Free County of Burgundy to the Valois dukes on her father's death in 1384.
