Marko's Monastery
Marko's Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery of Saint Demetrius in the village of Markova Sušica near Skopje, North Macedonia. Its church was begun in 1345 by Vukašin and completed around 1376–77 by his son Prince Marko, whose portraits appear among its frescoes. It is one of the best-preserved monuments of 14th-century Byzantine-style painting in the Balkans.
