Mawokota
Mawokota is one of the original core counties of the Kingdom of Buganda, south-west of Kampala, today in Mpigi District of Uganda, bordering Lake Victoria. With Busiro and Kyadondo it formed the area where, according to historians, a group of clans first accepted a common ruler, the kabaka, around the fourteenth or fifteenth century.
