Minkhaung I
Minkhaung I was king of Ava in Upper Burma from 1400 until his death in 1421, a son of Swa Saw Ke. His reign was dominated by the Forty Years' War against the Mon kingdom of Hanthawaddy under Razadarit, in which Ava's armies, often led by his son Minye Kyawswa, came close to victory without breaking the south. He also extended Ava's influence over Arakan and the Shan states.
