Morvan
The Morvan is a wooded upland massif in Burgundy, in central-eastern France, lying across the departments of Nièvre, Yonne, Côte-d'Or and Saône-et-Loire. Made of granite and covered with forests and lakes, it formed a natural western limit of the Duchy of Burgundy. It is now a regional natural park, and the Gallic hill fort of Bibracte lies on its southern edge.
