Mykonos
Mykonos is a small island of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea, Greece. After the Fourth Crusade it was taken around 1207 by the Venetian Ghisi family and later passed to Venice, before falling to the Ottomans in 1537 during the raids of Hayreddin Barbarossa. It joined the Greek War of Independence and is now one of Greece's best-known tourist destinations.
