Narnala

Narnala is a hill fortress in the Satpura range in the Akola district of Maharashtra, India. Of early origin, it was rebuilt by the Bahmani Sultanate and strengthened by the Imad Shahi sultans of Berar, who held it alongside Gawilgarh. Its long walls, gates and Persian inscriptions survive, and it later passed to the Mughals, the Marathas and the Nizam of Hyderabad.
