Ngamiland
Ngamiland is the region of north-western Botswana around Lake Ngami and the Okavango Delta, named after the lake. It was the territory of the Batawana chiefdom and was brought into the Bechuanaland Protectorate in the late 19th century. It now forms most of Botswana's North-West District, with its centre at Maun.
