Ó Raghallaigh
The Ó Raghallaigh, or O'Reillys, were a Gaelic Irish dynasty of the Uí Briúin Bréifne who ruled East Breifne, roughly modern County Cavan, from the 13th to the late 16th century. They gained power after the kingdom of Breifne split in 1256, ruled from Cavan town and the castle of Clough Oughter, and issued coins known as 'O'Reilly's money'. Their lordship was turned into County Cavan under English rule in the 1580s.
