Ostasio III da Polenta

Ostasio III da Polenta was the last lord of Ravenna from the Da Polenta family, which had ruled the city since the late 13th century. Increasingly dependent on Venice, he was deposed in 1441 when the Venetians annexed Ravenna, and he was sent into exile on Crete, where he died.
