Panagia Parigoritissa
The Panagia Parigoritissa is a Byzantine church in Arta, western Greece, built in the late 13th century by the ruler of Epirus Nikephoros I Komnenos Doukas and his wife Anna. Its unusual tall, box-like exterior hides a domed interior with columns and mosaics. It is the most important monument of the Despotate of Epirus and now houses a museum.
