Pelješac

Pelješac is a peninsula in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, joined to the mainland at the narrow isthmus of Ston. Bought by the Republic of Ragusa in 1333, it was protected by the long defensive walls of Ston and valued for its salt pans and wine. It is today known for its vineyards and since 2022 has been linked to the mainland north of Neum by the Pelješac Bridge.
