Penmachno
Penmachno is a village in the Machno valley in Conwy county, north Wales. Early Christian gravestones found there include a sixth-century stone commemorating a man described as a citizen of Venedotis, one of the earliest written forms of the name Gwynedd, and another carved with the Chi-Rho monogram. The inscribed stones are among the most important early Christian monuments in Wales.
