Pere d'Urtx
Pere d'Urtx was Bishop of Urgell in Catalonia in the second half of the 13th century. After long conflict with the counts of Foix over the lordship of Andorra, he signed the first Pareatge with Count Roger-Bernard III in 1278, establishing the joint sovereignty of the bishops and the counts. Andorra's co-principality descends from this agreement.
