Peronism
Peronism, or Justicialism, is the Argentine political movement formed around Juan Perón in the 1940s, resting on organised labour, economic nationalism, state-led industry and social welfare. Banned after Perón's fall in 1955, it remained the country's largest political force, and its Justicialist Party has produced presidents with very different policies, from Carlos Menem to Néstor and Cristina Kirchner.
