Phong Chau
Phong Chau is the area of Phu Tho province in northern Vietnam, near the meeting of the Red, Lo and Da rivers, that Vietnamese tradition names as the capital of Van Lang under the Hung kings. Archaeological sites of the Phung Nguyen and Dong Son periods there show long settlement. The Hung Kings' Temple on Nghia Linh mountain nearby is a national shrine.
