Picquigny

Picquigny is a small town on the Somme in Picardy, northern France. In 942 William Longsword, ruler of Normandy, was murdered there by men of Arnulf I of Flanders during a meeting on an island in the river. In 1475 Edward IV of England and Louis XI of France signed the Treaty of Picquigny in the town, ending Edward's invasion of France.
