Pleistos

The Pleistos is a small river in Phocis, central Greece, flowing through a deep gorge below the sanctuary of Delphi and across the olive plain to the Gulf of Corinth near Kirrha. The sanctuary stands on the slopes of Mount Parnassus above its valley, and the gorge forms part of the famous landscape of Delphi.
