Prajnaparamita

Also known as Perfection of Wisdom sutras

The Prajnaparamita, or Perfection of Wisdom, sutras are a group of Mahayana Buddhist scriptures on the emptiness of all phenomena and the wisdom of the bodhisattva, the earliest of which date from around the first century BCE. Copies of the Prajnaparamita in Eight Thousand Lines, written on palm leaves and illustrated with miniature paintings, are among the finest surviving products of the monasteries of the Pala Empire.
