Rajab
Rajab is the seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar. It is one of the four sacred months in which fighting was traditionally forbidden, a custom inherited from pre-Islamic Arabia. Muslim tradition places the Prophet Muhammad's night journey and ascension (Isra and Mi'raj) in this month, and it has long been associated with voluntary fasting and devotion.
