Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims as a month of fasting, prayer and reflection. According to the Almohad Caliphate profile, it was towards the end of Ramadan in 1121 that Ibn Tumart proclaimed himself the Mahdi.
