Razès
The Razès is a historical region of Languedoc in southern France, in the upper Aude valley around Limoux, named after the old town of Rhedae. A Carolingian county, it was joined to Carcassonne and passed to the Trencavel viscounts in the 11th century, and after the Albigensian Crusade it came under the French crown.
