Albi
Albi is a city on the Tarn in southern France, capital of the Tarn department. Its name was applied to the Cathars, called Albigensians, and to the crusade launched against them in 1209. Its fortress-like brick cathedral of Sainte-Cécile, begun in 1282, and the bishops' palace, now the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, form a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
