Ruvuma River
The Ruvuma, called the Rovuma in Portuguese, is a river of East Africa, about 800 km long, that rises in southern Tanzania and flows east to the Indian Ocean. For most of its course it forms the border between Tanzania and Mozambique, agreed between Germany and Portugal in 1886. David Livingstone explored its lower course in 1861–1862.
