Saint-Florentin

Saint-Florentin is a small town in the Yonne department of Burgundy, where the Armance meets the Armançon. Near it in 898 Richard the Justiciar, count of Autun, defeated a Viking army, a victory that strengthened his claim to lead the region that became the Duchy of Burgundy. Its Renaissance church is known for its stained glass.
