Saint John River
The Saint John River flows from Maine through New Brunswick to the Bay of Fundy. About 14,000 Loyalists settled along it after the American Revolution, leading to the creation of the Colony of New Brunswick in 1784, with Fredericton on the river as capital and the city of Saint John at its mouth.
