Shoshong
Shoshong is a village in central Botswana, in the Shoshong Hills west of Mahalapye. In the mid-19th century it was the capital of the Bangwato under Sekgoma I and Khama III, a large town and a main stop for missionaries, hunters and traders on the road from the south to the Zambezi. Khama III moved his capital from there to Palapye in 1889.
