Sierra de Segura
The Sierra de Segura is a mountain range in the north-east of Jaén province, Spain, part of the Prebaetic System, where the Segura river rises. In the 12th and 13th centuries its castles lay on the frontier between Muslim and Christian powers, and after the Castilian conquest the area was held by the Order of Santiago. It now forms part of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park.
