Sineus

Sineus is one of the three Varangian brothers who, according to the Russian Primary Chronicle, were invited by the Slavic and Finnic peoples of the north in 862 to rule over them. While Rurik settled at Novgorod and Truvor at Izborsk, Sineus is said to have taken Beloozero, dying two years later. Most historians regard Sineus and Truvor as legendary figures.
