Sindi

Also known as Sindians

The Sindi were an ancient people of the Taman peninsula and the lower Kuban in the north-western Caucasus, often counted among the Maeotians. Greek cities such as Gorgippia, modern Anapa, grew in their land, and their kingdom came under the Bosporan kings in the 4th century BCE, after which the Spartocids styled themselves kings of the Sindi.
