Sisophon
Sisophon is a town in north-western Cambodia, the capital of Banteay Meanchey Province, on the main road and railway between Phnom Penh and the Thai border. With Battambang and Siem Reap, it was returned by Siam to Cambodia under the Franco-Siamese treaty of 1907, and it was again held by Thailand between 1941 and 1946 after the Franco-Thai War.
