Tarhundaradu

14th century BCE · 14th century BCE · Also known as Tarhuntaradu

Tarhundaradu was a king of Arzawa in western Anatolia in the 14th century BCE. Two of the Amarna letters, written in Hittite, record his negotiations with the Egyptian pharaoh Amenhotep III over the marriage of his daughter, showing Arzawa as a power courted by Egypt while the Hittites were weak.
