Tepeticpac
Tepeticpac was the oldest of the four altepetl, or city-states, that formed the Nahua state of Tlaxcala in central Mexico, founded on a fortified hilltop by the first settlers in the 14th century. It ranked first among the four in tradition, alongside Ocotelolco, Quiahuixtlan and Tizatlan, and its hilltop ruins north of the city of Tlaxcala have been excavated as an archaeological site.
