Terebovlia
Terebovlia is a town in Ternopil Oblast, western Ukraine, on the Hnizna river. First mentioned in 1097, it was the seat of Prince Vasylko Rostyslavych, whose blinding that year is one of the best-known stories of the Primary Chronicle. It later belonged to Galicia and from the 14th century to Poland, whose castle there resisted Ottoman and Tatar sieges in the 17th century.
