Terracina
Terracina is a town on the coast of Lazio, Italy, south-east of Rome, where the Via Appia reaches the sea. Called Anxur by the Volsci, it was taken by Rome and became the colony of Tarracina in 329 BCE. Above it stands the great platform of a Roman temple traditionally attributed to Jupiter Anxur.
