Thanh Hoa
Thanh Hoa is a region of north-central Vietnam south of the Red River delta. It was the home country of the Ho dynasty, which built the stone citadel of Tay Do there, and of Le Loi, who led the war against Ming rule from Lam Son in 1418. In the 16th century it was the base of the restored Le court in its wars with the Mac.
