Thirty-five Years in the East
Thirty-five Years in the East is a memoir by Johann Martin Honigberger, a European physician who served at the court of the Sikh Empire in Lahore. It describes his travels and experiences in the Punjab and neighbouring regions. Accounts of the Sikh Empire name it, with the correspondence of Jean-François Allard, among the memoirs of European officers and servants of the Lahore Darbar that are important primary sources.
