Thur
The Thur is a river of north-eastern Switzerland, about 135 kilometres long and a left tributary of the Rhine. It rises in the upper Toggenburg below the Säntis massif and flows through the cantons of St. Gallen and Thurgau, to which it gives its name, before joining the Rhine near Flaach. Its upper valley formed the medieval county of Toggenburg.
