Tirigan

r. c. 2120 BCE · 22nd century BCE

Tirigan was the last Gutian king listed in the Sumerian King List, said to have reigned for only forty days. Around 2119 BCE Utu-hengal of Uruk defeated his army; Tirigan fled to the town of Dubrum, where he was seized and handed over, ending Gutian rule in southern Mesopotamia. The victory is recorded in Utu-hengal's own inscription.
