Turiaso

Turiaso was a Celtiberian and later Roman town on the site of modern Tarazona in the province of Zaragoza, Spain, at the foot of the Moncayo range. It minted coins in the Celtiberian period and became a Roman municipium under Augustus. Ancient writers praised the iron tempered in its waters, which supplied Celtiberian and Roman weapon-makers.
