Turpan Khanate

The Turpan Khanate was one of the successor states of the eastern branch of the Chagatai Empire, centred on the oasis of Turpan in what is now Xinjiang. The eastern khanate split around 1462 into the Yarkent and Turpan khanates. The Chagataid dynastic line survived in these and later successors for several centuries.
