uSuthu
The uSuthu were the faction of the Zulu royal house loyal to Cetshwayo and later to his son Dinuzulu. The name arose among Cetshwayo's supporters in the succession war of 1856. After the Anglo-Zulu War they fought the chiefs appointed by the British, above all Zibhebhu, who defeated them in 1883; with Boer help Dinuzulu's uSuthu won in 1884.
