Việt Nam Quốc Dân Đảng
The Việt Nam Quốc Dân Đảng, or Vietnamese Nationalist Party, was a revolutionary party founded in Hanoi in 1927 by Nguyễn Thái Học and others, modelled on the Chinese Kuomintang. It aimed to overthrow French rule by armed revolt, but the failed Yên Bái mutiny of February 1930 led to the execution of its leaders. It survived in exile in China and later opposed the communists.
