Vijayawada
Vijayawada is a city on the Krishna river in Andhra Pradesh, India, at the head of the Krishna delta. Known historically as Bezawada, it was a centre of the Vishnukundina dynasty, and it has the hill temple of Kanaka Durga and rock-cut cave temples at Undavalli and Mogalrajapuram nearby. The Prakasam Barrage there irrigates much of the delta.
