1122–1161 · 12th century · Also known as Prince Hailing, Prince of Hailing, Hailing

Wanyan Liang was the fourth emperor of the Jurchen Jin dynasty, ruling from 1150 to 1161 after murdering his predecessor. He centralised power and moved the capital south to Zhongdu, modern Beijing, in 1153. His invasion of the Southern Song in 1161 failed at the Battle of Caishi, and his officers killed him; he was posthumously demoted to Prince of Hailing.
