War of the Landshut Succession
The War of the Landshut Succession was fought in 1503–1505 over the Duchy of Bavaria-Landshut. Duke George the Rich had left his lands to his son-in-law Rupert of the Palatinate in breach of Wittelsbach family agreements, and Albert IV of Bavaria-Munich went to war. The Cologne arbitration of 1505 gave most of the lands to Albert, reuniting Bavaria, while Palatinate-Neuburg was created for Rupert's sons.
