Western Bug
The Western Bug is a river of eastern Europe, about 770 kilometres long, rising in western Ukraine and flowing north along the borders of Poland with Ukraine and Belarus before joining the Narew. Its basin held the medieval lands of Volhynia and the Cherven towns, contested between Poland and Rus', and towns such as Brest stand on its banks.
