Wuwei
Wuwei is a city in Gansu province in north-western China, on the eastern part of the Hexi Corridor. Under the Han dynasty it became a commandery on the route to Central Asia, and as Guzang it was the capital of the Former Liang, Later Liang, Southern Liang and Northern Liang states in the 4th and 5th centuries. A Han tomb near the city yielded the famous bronze Flying Horse of Gansu in 1969.
