Atiedian Brethren
The Atiedian Brethren (Latin fratres Atiedii) were a college of priests at Iguvium, modern Gubbio, in ancient Umbria. Their rituals, including the purification of the city's sacred mount, sacrifices and the reading of bird signs, are recorded in the Iguvine Tablets of the 3rd to 1st centuries BCE. These texts make them the best documented priesthood of any ancient Italic people other than the Romans.
